A life-long journey of self-discovery…
My unique educational and professional background has brought me to a “Life Mastery” approach to personal coaching. Here, I take a holistic view of my clients’ goals and skill-building across the domains of mind, body, spirit and relationships.
Over the years, I have committed to learning and growing in my mindfulness and wellness practices. I am credentialed by the International Coaching Federation as an Associate Certified Coach, and I have trained widely to become a certified Life Coach and Practitioner of NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming), certified Embodiment Coach, and a practitioner of Generative Change in Generative Coaching.
My coaching helps people build the skills they need to deal more effectively with their life challenges, and to be empowered to meet their developmental goals and transitions.
I began my educational and work life in the art and academic world of museums, libraries, universities and professional associations. “Following my bliss” started with art history in college, and led to an early career at the J. Paul Getty Trust, where I worked on many projects and traveled internationally. I hold Master’s Degrees in Arts Administration and in Cultural Studies, and a PhD in History. As an independent scholar, I continue researching, writing and lecturing to share my knowledge in these fields.
Clients often seek coaching as they tackle the developmental challenges that go with meeting higher level needs, such as life direction or self-actualization. The first step is to work on clarifying your goals and putting them into the context of your life-long development.
